Joshua Seligsohn is a photographer based in South Lake Tahoe, CA. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Political Science. He is specifically interested in civil rights, criminal justice issues, and the rural-urban divide, and continues to actively study those fields outside the formal educational environment of the university.
In a tradition that was inspired by his time in Boy Scouts and his father, Josh also cares deeply about the environment and our relationship with it. His time on the Pacific Crest Trail on served to entrench the importance of a cultivating a sustainable relationship to our environment.
For some years he competed in olympic weightlifting, ultimately competing in a number of national meets.
As a photographer these are the things that he prefers to photograph whether it be the gym, mountain, or any issue with a political dimension.
